Convert audio to text

Manually transcribing audio can be a frustrating task, especially if you have longer audio files. Using Voicedocs Transcriber requires about four times less turnaround time than doing it manually. Here are the steps to convert the audio to text:

  1. Register on the website or log in if you already have an account.
  2. Click the New Project button and upload your audio or video file. The software will automatically convert it to text in a short time using speech recognition technology.
  3. After the automatic conversion, you will be able to edit or download the text in special Editor. Click on any sentence, the editor automatically plays the corresponding part of the audio. This way, you can proofread and edit the text to correct the mistakes. To listen to current sentence again, press Ctrl+Space. To listen to the entire audio for review, Click Play All button on Toolbar. The software automatically highlights the corresponding words while audio is playing in the background.
  4. After finishing with editing, you can download the text to your device in Doc, Txt, SRT or JSON formats by clicking Export. You can also include timestamps for each sentence while downloading.
